Relating To Vehicle Inspections.

Abstract

Codifies certain certification, renewal, and violation processes of vehicle inspectors who conduct vehicle safety inspections under the department of transportation. Makes inoperable the requirement for reconstructed vehicles to obtain a special inspection and certification from 1/1/2022 through 7/31/2025. Requires the department of transportation to submit a report on the effects of the repeal no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2025. (CD1)
